Cleaning on Maui

At Crystal Clean Maui, our focus is dedicated to serving the Maui community. With a strong commitment to our local residents, we have made a conscious decision to specialize in residential and commercial cleaning services exclusively, and, therefore, do not offer cleaning services for vacation rentals.

Crystal Clean Maui primarily operates in the North Shore, Upcountry, and Central regions. Please note that services in Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, and Upper Kula may be subject to additional fees. For Lahaina and Hana, we evaluate service requests individually. For regions beyond our main service locations, we limit our offerings to once-a-month, deep, or move-out cleanings.

We understand that plans can change. If you cancel your service less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, there will be a charge of $50. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, you will be billed for half of the expected service cost. Please be aware that if our team is unable to access your property within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival, the total cost of the service will be charged.

We understand the importance of familiarity and trust in home cleaning services. Our teams are typically made up of two members who work together consistently. While we aim to maintain the same team for your cleanings, adjustments might be needed for reasons such as vacations, staffing changes, or training. Clients with weekly or biweekly schedules are more likely to have the same crew, whereas those with monthly or less frequent cleanings might see different teams.

To ensure availability, we recommend booking your cleaning services 1-2 weeks in advance. Our crew’s schedules are finalized every Friday afternoon. Therefore, please arrange your cleaning by Friday noon for the upcoming week. If you're on a recurring schedule, like bi-weekly cleanings, there's no need to rebook each time. For deep cleans or move-out cleans, booking 2-3 weeks ahead is advised, though you can always contact us for last-minute arrangements. Be aware that bookings made after Friday noon for the following week incur an additional $100 fee.

Our teams come fully equipped with all the necessary supplies to ensure a thorough clean of your home. However, if you have a preference for specific products or supplies, we are more than happy to use those provided by you. Our priority is to deliver a cleaning service that meets your expectations, whether that's with our supplies or yours.

At Crystal Clean Maui, we prioritize the safety of both our clients and our staff. Therefore, we do not handle hazardous materials, including, but not limited to, feces, bodily fluids, and mold. Our services are designed to avoid any materials that are potentially harmful, toxic, or unsafe. This policy is in place to ensure the well-being and safety of everyone involved.

We clean window tracks, sills, and frames, but not window panes or screens. If you have specific window cleaning needs we are happy to refer you to someone!

At Crystal Clean Maui, laundry is considered an additional service and isn't included in the standard cleaning package. However, if you need laundry services, we're more than willing to accommodate this request. Please keep in mind that we do not do personal clothing for safety reasons. Please inform us when you book your cleaning, and we'll add laundry to your service list for an all-encompassing cleaning experience.

We suggest keeping pets away from the cleaning areas for efficiency and safety. However, we understand every pet is different. Cats usually keep to themselves, but it might be wise to secure more energetic pets like young puppies in a separate area. Ultimately, you know your pets best and can judge the most suitable arrangement during our cleaning visit.
